Individuals who trained abroad and have been graded as an Electrician by the SJIB for at least two years
To find out if you qualify to be re-graded to approved status simply answer the questions and follow the arrows.
Can you provide evidence that you have been graded as an Electrician by the SJIB for at least two years?

You will have to wait until you have two years experience as a qualified, graded Electrician.
Have you completed the Distance Learning Course and the Enhanced week at college? (35 hours)?

Have you completed the Statement of Experience form and submitted a copy to SECTT?

Having approved the Statement of Experience SECTT will return a copy to you and your employer. In addition SECTT will send a copy of the Employer Declaration form and the ACA application form which should be completed by your employer and returned to SECTT.
If the aforementioned paperwork is correct SECTT will make the necessary arrangements for you to sit the ACA.

Having successfully completed the ACA the SJIB will send you and your employer the results and a re-grade form which should be completed by yourself and the employer and returned to the SJIB. The SJIB will send your new card on to you.
Failure to provide relevant certificates/documentation could result in a delay. Fees are non-refundable.
