Electricians who started their apprenticeship prior to August 1995 (Self Employed)
Self Employed Electricians who started their apprenticeship prior to August 1995 and are looking to re-grade to an Approved Electrician.
To find you if you qualify to be re-graded to approved status simply answer the questions and follow the arrows
Have you had at least two years experience as an SJIB graded Electrician?

Can you provide evidence that you have successfully completed the following training? (within the last five years ):
Suitable assessed training on the Requirements of Inspection & Testing, to BS 7671
ORSELECT'S (BS 7671) Tailored Award
ORCity & Guilds Design of Electrical Installation.

Can you provide evidence that you have successfully completed the ECS Health and Safety Assessment (within the last 30 months) or hold a valid approved equivalent?

Complete and return a Re–Grade form together with all relevant certificates/documentation/ photos to the SJIB.
