Holiday Notice, Fares and Entitlement to Paid Holiday
(d) Notice for the Annual Summer Holidays
Employers shall give employees not less than three months notice of any particular arrangements for the taking of the Annual Summer holidays.
(e) Travelling Fares
Travelling fares only shall be paid to employees working in the country and returning home at the recognised holiday periods except in the case of Christmas Day/Boxing Day, which for the purpose of this Rule shall be regarded along with the three days at New Year as one holiday.
(f) Entitlement to Holidays with Pay
The Holidays with Pay agreements in the Industry provide that all employees shall be paid for twenty-two days holiday each year and for each of the eight days included in the Christmas, New Year, Spring and Autumn holidays and the eighth day of holiday. With effect from January 2006, all 30 days of holiday will attract the statutory top-up payment.
